The Inner Forest es un disco enteramente instrumental, inspirado completamente en un viaje a Inglaterra en 2018, viaje que me permitió adentrarme por bosques ancestrales, surcados de antiguos senderos de cientos y quizás miles de años. Árboles añejos, círculos de piedras prehistóricos, algún que otro castillo abandonado. Por mi pasado en la música llamada celta, toda esta tradición musical me fué muy afín, desde pequeño. La experiencia de vagar días por ahí, con la mochila a cuestas, despertaron una cantidad de sensaciones que no pude más que traducir en música.

El álbum en sí está concebido como un todo, los temas tienen un hilo conductor que intenta hacerlos viajar por un rato por un paisaje natural y misterioso, cargado de historia y secretos. Los títulos de las temas tiran una pista, pero con suerte, cada uno se armará su propia película .


The Inner Forest es un álbum unipersonal. Desatavientos surgió como una idea unipersonal, luego a lo largo de los años se sumaron otros músicos, con los que hay grabados discos anteriores que también están subidos a las plataformas. Luego de unos años de inactividad, retomé el proyecto como algo puramente personal. Aún así primer disco de 2021, 4 Encantamientos, fue una hermosa colaboración de gente que ya no formaban parte de Desatavientos, pero pusieron lo mejor de sí para hermosearlo con sus talentos.

En The Inner Forest, vuelvo al inicio, a la idea personal, en concepción, composición, ejecución y producción.
Desde ya, quiero agradecer la invaluable tarea en masterización y algunas mezclas del benemérito señor Miguel Canel, ídolo de ídolos. Y a mis padres que ayudaron con el viaje, y a mi hermana Alejandra Gómez Markham y su marido Alex Markham quienes me hospedaron en aquel año en el que estuve por los mágicos reinos de Albión

The Inner Forest is an entirely instrumental album, completely inspired by a trip to England in 2018, a trip that allowed me to enter ancient forests, crisscrossed with ancient trails of hundreds and perhaps thousands of years. Old trees, prehistoric stone circles, the occasional abandoned castle. Because of my past in so-called Celtic music, this whole musical tradition was very close to me, since I was little. The experience of wandering around for days, with the backpack in tow, aroused a number of sensations that I could not help but translate into music.

The album itself is conceived as a whole, the songs have a common thread that tries to make them travel for a while through a natural and mysterious landscape, full of history and secrets. The titles of the themes throw a clue, but hopefully, each one will put together their own movie.


The Inner Forest is a one-man album. Desatavientos emerged as a one-man idea, then over the years other musicians joined, with whom there are previous albums recorded that are also uploaded to the platforms. After a few years of inactivity, I took up the project as something purely personal. Even so, the first album of 2021, 4 Encantamientos, was a beautiful collaboration of people who were no longer part of Desatavientos, but did their best to beautify it with their talents.

In The Inner Forest, I go back to the beginning, to the personal idea, in conception, composition, execution and production.
From now on, I want to thank the invaluable task in mastering and some mixes of the worthy Mr. Miguel Canel, idol of idols. And to my parents who helped with the trip, and to my sister Alejandra Gómez Markham and her husband Alex Markham who hosted me in that year when I was in the magical kingdoms of Albion
